Hello Varsity Football Parents!
Amy Childs and Jessica Maldonado, along with their dedicated team of parents are excited to be your Varsity Spirit
Representatives. We willbe your primary source for communication and questions as we look to create the best season ever for the Clark Cougar Varsity Football team. The season will be busy with special Clark traditions and spirit
activities not to mention some great football!
You can find the most current information regarding practice schedules, game schedules and
upcoming events by regularly checking the SportsYou app. Please download the SportsYou app
and check it regularly, as this will be our primary means of communication. Another great way to
get current information is to frequently check the Football page on the Clark Athletic Booster
Club website. The Clark Athletic Booster Club website will be a one-stop shop, where all
payments for memberships, football fees (for gameday meals and snacks), spirit gear and
events can be paid online.
Ways to support Clark football include:
1. Be a Booster Club member (memberships start at $35 and allows your athlete to apply
for a senior scholarship).
2. Volunteer for Concessions. (Football has 3 dates to fill! 8/31, 9/9, and 9/28) Sign up now!
3. Make a donation for an athlete that needs a scholarship for football fees and/or activities.
4. Buy Spirit Gear (yard and fence signs, decals, etc.) and Spirit Wear (shirts, hats, etc.)
5. Pay Football Fees ($200.00) to ensure every player receives gameday snacks and meals

Football has the largest number of athletes. Our goal is to lead the way in memberships and
involvement!
Some important dates to note are:
Jul 27 & 28: Banner Making in the Clark Cafeteria from 4:00-7:00 pm
Aug 8: Coach Geist’s Football Parent Meeting in the Auditorium: 6:30 pm
Aug 10: Moms Clinic Hosted by Coach Geist in the Cafeteria: 6:30 pm
Aug 19: Varsity BBQ and Pictures & Back in Black!
Aug 25: Team Dinner (More info coming...)
Aug 26: First Game at Farris Stadium against Buda Johnson
Sep 24: Mother-Son Event
Sep 29: Homecoming Game
Oct 12: Gucci Bowl game against Churchill
Oct 15: Father-Son Event
Oct 26: Last Game against Brandeis
We will also be decorating lockers before every game, have some parent send-offs and a few
after parties planned. Be on the lookout for more details on SportsYou.
We welcome and encourage your ideas and participation! We will keep you posted as the
